It is a blessing and a responsibility of those who call Renton Bible Church home to support the ministries of the body financially, with a prayerful and grateful approach. Our accounting team is diligent in keeping your financial details and contributions confidential and secure. Donations are handled with care and are reported monthly to our Elder Board as a lump sum with no individual details revealed.
Ways to Give:
1) Cash or check
In the offering plate at Sunday morning worship (for privacy envelopes see back tables).
2) Online Bill Pay via your bank
Enter RBC’s information, set amount and when/how often. Your bank will send a check in the mail.
3) Online Giving via Tithe.ly
Use QR code from a Sunday bulletin or click this link.
We encourage paying from your bank account. Using credit/debit cards incurs fees (3%). If you prefer to use a payment card, please consider the option of covering the fees.
4) Stock/Bonds/Mutual Fund Donations
We recommend using a Donor Advised Fund such as Schwab Charitable or Fidelity Charitable which accept stock or other appreciated assets as donations and then allow you to advise the fund on how to donate the cash proceeds. It is efficient and gives you immediate tax benefits. Please note that tax receipts for donations via Donor Advised Funds are supplied by the fund, not Renton Bible Church.
All contributions to Renton Bible Church are gifts received for the purpose of furthering God’s purpose here on Earth. Any designations or requests by the donor will be considered but the ultimate distribution of all contributions is the decision of the church (leaders?).
Year-End Donations - To appear on your tax contribution receipt for the current year, all year-end contributions mailed to RBC must be post-marked by December 31 (this includes any transactions through your bank’s bill-pay system). All online donations must be posted by December 31. Any contributions received after December 31 will appear on next year’s tax receipt.
